AWS re:Invent 2106 was a big deal — the energy has been truly amazing. The buzz from the floor was palpable with everyone talking about the latest and greatest features and solutions that we will be discussing in the year to come.
The reality is that AWS is working hard to build out high-value solutions that can help save time and money for organizations making decisions to move to the AWS Cloud.
Some of the major announcements include the partnership with: VMWare to make it easier to create hybrid clouds, X-Ray which helps expedite the discovery of application bottlenecks, Amazon Lightsail, a new way for developers to easily access low-cost virtual private servers (VPS), Amazon AI services for deep learning, and Amazon Athena, to be used for running queries on data that’s stored in the S3 cloud storage service.
And who could forget the snowmobile truck to promote Amazon’s next generation of its Snowball boxes to move lots of data to AWS. Many of these new announcements will help the C-Suite see increased business value by speeding deployment, securing data, and making it all immensely scalable.
From developers to vendors this conference was chock full of great advice and information on how AWS re:Invent may help, change, and grow your business.
